St. Joseph's Seminary Appeal
On the weekend of September 27/ 28 we are happy to have a third year seminarian from St. Joseph's Seminary . Mr. Stephen Jankowski who will be speaking at all the Masses about the Seminary Appeal.
We thank you for your generosity with this second collection this weekend. If you do not receive envelopes or you are not on We Share and would like to make a donation- a donation box will be in the Narthex of the Church.Thank you for your generosity . -

ALL SAINTS DAYOn Saturday , November 1st, the Church celebrates the Solemn Feast of All Saints. Since it falls on a Saturday this year it is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation. However, for those who would like to celebrate this Holy Day we will have our regularly scheduled 8 am Mass and an additional 10 am Mass
-----------------------------------------------------------All Souls Day- Sunday- November 2ndNovember is the month dedicated to All Souls. Immediately following the 5 pm Mass on November 1st a special prayer of blessing will be prayed at the Monument to the Unborn next to Our Lady’s Statue outside the back of the Church. Please join us for this special blessing as we pray for a greater respect for all human life! Let us remember all of our loved ones who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. Masses will be offered each day for nine days as we remember all of our beloved dead.All Souls Day Envelopes are available at the entrances of the Church. If you would like to have your beloved deceased remembered in our Novena of Masses, please take an envelope and make sure that you write the names of your loved ones on the envelope. The All-Souls Day Envelopes will be placed on the Altar for the Month of November.“Merciful Father, hear our prayer and console us. As we renew our faith in your Son, whom you raised from the dead, strengthen our hope that all of our departed brothers and sisters will share in His Resurrection, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Sunday, November 9th at 12:00 Noon Mass
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is an important Sacrament both for body and soul. It says in Sacred Scripture…”Are there any who are sick among you? Let them send for the priests of the Church, and let the priests pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14. At this Mass, we will have the Anointing of the Sick. It will be our regular Sunday Mass along with some prayers for those who are ill along with a blessing and Anointing. For those able to come to Church and receive this wonderful sacrament of healing and strength, please join us. The first row in each section of the Church will be reserved for those receiving the Sacrament of the Sick. If you are unable to sit in those sections for whatever reason, we will come to you in your seat.
A Catholic may be anointed in the Anointing of the Sick sacrament if they are a baptized Catholic who has reached the age of reason and is in danger due to serious illness or the infirmities of old age. The sacrament is for any sick person before a serious surgery, for those whose health is seriously impaired by sickness, or for the elderly who are considerably weakened, even without a specific illness. It can also be received again if the illness worsens or if the person recovers and becomes ill again with a different ailment. -

A Prayer to St. Joseph
O Blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of thy chaste spouse, the virgin Mother of God, I choose thee this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor thee all the days of my life. Therefore I humbly beseech thee to receive me as thy client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death. Amen.
